The Kintyre is a new design of long practice chanter developed by Stuart and Willie McCallum. The Kintyre practice chanter boasts a beautiful clear tone and the sound lasts much longer as a result of the innovative watertrap incorporated in the top piece. If emptied on a regualr basis, it will give hours of uninterrupted practice. Willie Mccallum describes it as “the only long practice chanter I have played that feels like a pipe chanter”, thereby making the transition much easier.
