Unisex Wool Thermo Long Sleeve Shirt Base Layer with Inlay

Very warm and comforting to wear outdoors and if I can shower daily it stays odor free for 8 to 10 days. Which greatly extends the laundry intervals for it and the wool base layers that I wear over it. By comparison the synthetic thermo mesh begins to impart an odor by the end of the second or third day that unfortunatly my other wool base layers begin to absorb. It’s an unusal odor that I don’t particularly care for. The wool Thermo Mesh lags just a bit behind the polypropylene in performance since it doesn’t dry as fast but I found the difference did not matter to me. I am 6′ tall, 175 pounds with a 44″ chest and I got an XL in both fabrics. The wool did shrink a bit so I was glad that I went with the larger size. I was going to send the polypropylene version back and get another wool one but I think I need both. There will be occasional circumstances where I will absolutey need the extra toughness of the polypropylene. They are both great products and I enjoy using them. The wool is more delicate with a shorter lifespan, it’s more work to launder but it’s slightly more comfortable to wear and it’s odor free. You can’t go wrong with either of them.
